Meet Hailey!
Hailey is not only a riding instructor here at Sonoran Performance Horses, but she is also the owner!
Hailey has been teaching lessons here since 2021 when we first opened up our doors!
Hailey loves riding Hunt Seat and loves to teach this style of riding. She is also qualified to teach western pleasure and jumping, though Hunt Seat is where her preferences lie.
Hailey has over a decade of riding, training, & handling experience!
She started her riding career in the gaited horse industry riding western, however, once she tried hunt seat, she was obsessed and never looked back when she switched.
Hailey loves taking her students to local shows on our horses where they do great in the Hunt Seat Eq classes!
Some of Hailey’s favorite students to work with are the young kiddos who ride at our barn! Taking a timid young beginner and transforming them into a confident rider who can rock the show ring is what Hailey finds most rewarding. Hailey is definitely a kid person!
Hailey has loved horses her whole life, and now wants to dedicate her life to sharing that passion with others!

Meet Sydney!
Sydney is one of our amazing trainers here at SPH!
Sydney, before coming to SPH, competed in eventing! She has developed several of her own horses and turned them into exceptional jumpers & event horses!
Sydney’s sweet soft-spoken nature make her a favorite amongst the youngest riders here at SPH. Her expertise at the higher levels however make her a favorite as well amongst our more advanced riders too!
Sydney loves jumping, and has an extensive show background in both eventing and hunters! She was also a member of her college equestrian team!
If your goals in riding are to gain confidence, learn to jump one day, and establish a strong & balanced seat, Sydney could be the trainer for you! She is looking forward to taking our young horses to the next level, and help our students be successful in both their lessons and shows! We are so honored to have an equestrian like Sydney on the SPH team!
Meet Terri!
Terri began working as a riding instructor here in the beginning of 2024!
She thoroughly enjoys many different riding disciplines and excels in Hunt Seat, jumping, and Western Pleasure. Though Hunt Seat & jumping are the main areas she teaches here, Terri also has driving experience, and has previously taught international level riders Saddle Seat!
Terri has close to three decades of riding, training, & handling experience and is beyond qualified to teach you or your kiddo the ins and outs of riding!
Terri loves her students and wants to make every lesson count! She does amazing with riders who plan to take their riding career to the next level and who plan to go to shows one day!
Terri loves horses and loves to share this passion with her students! If you want to take your riding career to the next level, Terri is most definitely the girl to get you there!
Meet Dia!
Dia is one of our amazing trainers here at SPH! Dia has loads of experience in the jumping and dressage disciplines and loves to create correct and confident riders!
Dia started with SPH in early 2026 and has been winning her riders over with her fun new lesson plans, her sweet soft spoken nature, and genuine smile!
Dia is actually one of our former students! After moving to the states from Finland, Dia continued her riding journey with us here at SPH in 2022!
She made her home in Arizona official after a brief move back to and from Finland in 2025. Shortly after she came back, we welcomed her back to SPH as a member of our team!
If you are wanting lessons t0 feel fun and lighthearted while also learning how you can improve yourself as a rider, Dia could be the trainer for you!
